As some of you may or may not know the next release of the custom build will be an installer release that minimizes configuration for keyboard play for a better "out of the box" experience
part of this includes the intent to package the installer with some reasonable number of files that are playable as soon as installation is complete
requirements:
-music is licensed under creative commons (CC0, CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, CC-BY-NC) and preferably some evidence for this is provided. If there isn't and I go to look for some and can't find any within 2 minutes i won't spend anymore time on it
-file is finished and includes graphics (cdtitle optional but really you should)
-you created the file you are sending
-chart is for singles/solo
-file isn't complete garbage (read: anything with coherent structure and sync is fine); mine dodge and mod files are also fine as long as they are playable
-file is in .sm format (i will be very angry if you send me a .ssc with split timing)
submit to [email protected]
there is no deadline, anything accepted will be accumulated and appended to the songs folder each release cycle
there will be no review process - i'll either flag things as accepted or not
fulfill the requirements and the file will be accepted
i'm not looking for a huge swell of files, just a baseline set of charts
*technically i suppose if artists give explicit permission for use in this project similar to ffr's permission system they'll be eligible however i don't really expect anyone to go through the trouble
