Not sure how this one is going at the moment, let me know if i should continue haha. I mostly just need to do some text stuff and probably some minor changes. I tried to capture a bit of everything in this song.

Holy shit that's such a cool theme for a GFX set. Lina's "bitch please" look gets me every time; they always show her with that smug grin in artwork and I love it.
Honestly I'd use that as a wallpaper if I was a DotA2 player lmao

I agree the text and the logo on the right are a little flat. The bevel on the character portraits and the gradient on the Vent logo look much nicer in comparison.

Yeah the only problem with graphics is literally the text, I have tried a few things and I am just not liking it so far haha. I think the problem is I can't find a color I like. In other news, working on different sets while I am stumped there haha.

I'm just going to pop in here to say that there is nothing wrong with solid colour/white text free of effects, so long as the typesetting is good and it works well with the background image.

Don't feel as though you have to/must apply effects all the time because the more you dump onto type, the more the typeface loses it's natural aesthetic as well as other variable factors like readability and legibility. Solid white text is fairly universal when it comes to StepMania graphics only because 99% of the time they're utilizing darker backgrounds due to players' preferences (that being said, a vast majority play with 0%–20% background brightness, so I don't think it matters much).
