Re: Stepping Stones 2 [Submissions open!]

How many files are you looking for?

I also have a few files I can submit, hopefully they don't end up being the hardest in the pack (like the first one)

    Released!

Heehee no worries broski, you can still make them that hard. Just make sure you make the main chart one I can pass

Also DDRNGGin, that's fine and all but if the main chart is challenge and if you have too many easier charts I might have to leave a few out. You can blame me for not making it as clear in the OP, but this is technically a keyboard pack first. Obviously if it's a hard enough pad chart it will be okay, but keyboard is in mind first, cool?

Understood. I'm partially at fault here because I did not ask specifically if it is a keyboard chart pack or not. I'm just truly adaptive to making pad charts because I have been playing DDR for so long; however, I am willing to make future charts either hybrid or keyboard for this pack. Other than this situation, we're cool.
I do appreciate you for the feedback.

Sorry fellas! I have updated my OP to reflect that lol. Keep in mind that a difficult pad chart could be used as an easy keyboard chart too!

                    Okay so a couple things:

I just realized making the main chart set on Medium was kind of silly - so I'll change that to Hard.

Also I have added a reviews section to the OP, so check there for updates! (When I get to them haha)

I'd also like ideas on how to rate the difficulties. Everyone has a different idea, but I'm thinking of grabbing [blank space]'s NPS generator and using fudge factor. Any one else have an idea?

Glad you changed that rule around, having Medium be the main chart was just a weird idea. :P

Have you looked at Novice and Easy at all? If you feel anything needs to be changed with those two charts I'd be happy to hear it.

EDIT: Blanky's NPS generator + fudge factor is exactly what I used with New York's ratings. Personally I'd go with that.

As for the chart itself - Really nicely synced, and actually a lot more fun than I was anticipating! It's a bit simple for the pack, but that's not a huge deal. There are a couple things I think might fix it up a tiny bit though: At M6, you are missing 2 jumps (instead of just 2 right arrows); the same sounds are jumps in almost all of the other measures. And at least in the second half of the song, during the chorus(es), you could probably get away with adding a third jump at the beginning of each line after the "Bye"s (ie: the beginning of M19 and similar measures). And don't be afraid to spice it up a bit! Some of those big beat sounds during the song could use a jump, or you could put a mini freeze in some of those 16th runs where there is that hi-hat(I think?) sound. Once you fix up those bits then you should be good to go!
I have sent in the Challenge file with the changes you requested. This song has been a favorite of mine since I first listened to *Nsync.

By the way, the NPS Generator + Fudge factor rating combo might work; however, testing the method is required.

Also, just a heads up that I don't play much (if at all) during work days, since they are 12 hour shifts. But it's only 3 days a week, so the other 4 days I should be able to keep up with things!

Regarding AM-3P's Challenge chart, can you give specific measures where I could add some 16ths in case I have to make a v3 for the chart. I would greatly appreciate it.

glad you're making this pack, i would like to apologize (because i never really got around to doing so) about the first pack

the idea was good but i was a very bad organizer. i have good hopes for this one since i know kraezymann is a very competent person and organizer. good luck, and i hope this one reaches a wider audience
