alright, so i'm playing DDR the other day, and i noticed something. i always set it to arrow type 2, and as i was playing i realized that the arrows are transparent. so, i opened Stepmania, and played with Note style arrows, and saw that they are not transparent. i liked the DDR style better, so i modified the Note arrows and made a new noteskin: Type2. wasnt much to do, but it still looks pretty nifty.

A lil noteskin i whipped together
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OTags: None -
just copy an existing noteskin and change it. all i did for that one is copy the entire Note folder and delete the gray parts on all the arrows. i did have to change some of the files around so that the hold notes didnt have vivid heads, but that wasnt all that hard.So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

1) changing the colors would confuse alot of people, but i may do a different noteskin later with different color, idunno
2) i almost did use the note+ arrows as the template to start with, but then i realized it'd be like ripping it off of those who helped make them, so i decided against it. besides, it's meant to be like the Type 2 arrows from real DDRSo I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
