Sol Cosine Job 2 is so fun what the hell. the song seems really similar to Bad Maniacs, especially with the nonsense talk about dying and such.

Tabibito Rerun and The Road Is on Fire are baller. I'm sure every other file in this pack is baller too, but I have yet to verify that notion

I mean yeah what kommi said is mostly true, but there's no denying that bringing to public eye shared knowledge drastically improves the technical abilities of a lot of people

I find it amusing that the same guy that said this:

                  said this:
                  there's a difference:

there's ripping a file apart for every minor technical aspect (done by people who know what they're talking about).

and there's talking about strict rules of layering, pr (the irony) and all that shit that doesn't necessarily render a file more fun.

what constitutes a fun file does in fact include a proper structure, accentuation, and consistency.

Re: FFR Community Pack 4 Released!

Technicality and fun factor goes hand in hand. Technicality helps the chart make sense of the song, which in turn often makes the file more fun to play. Because unless it's a midare chart, not many people will enjoy playing a file that doesn't correlate to the music well (making sense of the song isn't the only source of a chart's fun factor though). It's the degree of technicality that matters.

A reasonable degree of technicality, as well as an enjoyable song (all subjective), that makes for a great file. I think "technicality" gets a worse rep than it actually deserves. People actually utilize it more than they think whether they despise the term or not. How it's used either contributes or hinders a file's fun factor.

there are many definitions for technicality

some people say it's every nitpick and audible sound and overlayered rainbow note teradumps.

some people say it's the overall consistency and flow of a file

I like to say that technicality is, simply put, the aspects of the chart that is relevant to the music. It's a broad statement that covers everything from the existence of a sound to layering to pitch relevancy. They all attempt to make sense of the song.
