Took me about forever, but actually stepping it only took two days I just took a long time figuring out how to layer all of it, lol

these seem really bright, though...also the song's by Jun Senoue

They're supposed to be bright. Wanted a good beach for the background since the song sounds like something you'd hear at the beach. And trust me on the song's artist; I know my Sonic trivia.

alrighty. tbh though the song has this dark seductive energy to it that I wish had come out more in the color schemes. just changing the font to something a bit more elegant/wild would make that look a lot better imho

ultimately it's up to you and mass, though, and I'll be perfectly happy with the original set as is

Dark? Honestly? I can sort of see where you're getting at, but I wouldn't call it dark, chill rather. If I get it right, the colour scheme may be a bit too beach than lagoon?
I'd say warmer, deeper colours. Not darker, moodier. But that's my opinion.

Okay, so I fiddled around with the saturation and hue of the image and got something a little brighter, but cooler at the same time (I think it is) to reflect the calm mood of the song. Also changed the title's font and the cropping for the banner for a more dynamic presentation.
