any ideas as far as song choice? dg as a band is sonically interesting, but i'm just not so sure anymore about their suitability for arrow smashing. if you have some ideas though i'm sure a good file could come out of it

I'll be honest I'd really like to keep it as is because then it looks a lot like the ending of Prayer from GD (which is kind of where I got the idea how I wanted to do the ending from)

But if I did change it it's be along the lines of 12 3 12 3 12 3 or 34 2 34 2 ish sort of stuff. Would that be an alright compromise to it you think?

I gotta tell ya, the multiple charts is what consumed most of my time...it has absolutely nothing to do with being lazy to make them, but rather it's more time consuming than some people here would be led to believe. Making easier charts is not something you can just do on a whim for most people.

for that file i'll settle for 3 charts total. the expert chart isn't all that demanding.


as far as making easier charts go, the reason why I was limiting submissions is because I wanted people too take a bit more time making them. For some people it takes longer because they actually care about how they turn out, as you should. Some people poop out easier charts and they're incoherent dumps which is unfortunate.


I realize this pack is moving at a snail's pace, but this is what I want. I'm expecting 20 files, 25 if things go well. I'm prioritizing quality of quantity and it will most likely take a few months

the 4 chart rule is dumb though, depending on the song, 2 charts should suffice, otherwise one would have to omit/change things randomly just for the sake of an easier/different chart, unless you really want pad files in there

holy shit Velious outta nowhere. Caring Dance and Nightmare were favorites of mine back in the day

depends on the song, too, but I find that in most cases you can definitely make at least 3 songs since most songs that are steppable in the first place have enough layers to work with. from there adding one SUPER BEGINNER CHART shouldn't be too hard. but again, that's just me and I haven't even submitted yet so take this w/ a grain of salt lololol

anyway I will also make a submission soon hopefully

the reason for 4 charts, as I've explained before, is to cater to all audiences. we're not just talking people who play easier keyboard files; I mean literally from people starting off the game to nima-tier.
