so I'm shopping for a PC pad

mostly because I hate myself but also because I still enjoy smashing some arrows every now and again.

ANYWAY the reason I made this thread is because I have no idea what's good. I had an old RedOctane Ignition soft pad years back, and I heard those were still excellent (despite RO's... unfortunate purchase and subsequent closure by Activision) so I bought the only one I could find, a used ignition 3.0 on Amazon. Well, the seller turned out to be bullshit and it seems unlikely I'll ever see that particular pad so I'm back at square one.

I'd rather not just google "ddr pad" and end up buying some shitty made-in-taiwan pad that registers half my steps, so I figured this is a pretty good place to ask for suggestions. You guys play rhythm games sometimes, right?

I was able to pass Pandemonium with a 85.XX% on a $20 DDR Max/Extreme pad. Depends on your setup to be honest (This was in 08 with table as a bar and played using my toes, never my heels.)

If you want to play semi-serious, you should just personally message an ITG player that may have info on something worthy still around.

Patashu does decently well in his videos and I believe Halogen had a good home pad.
