The song that doesn't show up has 'Heavy' instead of 'Hard'. I've got that fixed.

Actually, looking back at your post (http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...0&postcount=22) I think you got it to work - the Japanese characters in Flaxen Necklace and COOLISH WALK show up correctly. Maybe the problem was just in pastebin.

Personally, I think that the whole website would be better with download links to, at least, individual songs, let alone entire packs. However, that is just a miniscule complaint. This is a brilliant concept for a website, and if I could be of some assistance, I would love to help search the internet for packs.

Personally, I think that the whole website would be better with download links to, at least, individual songs, let alone entire packs. However, that is just a miniscule complaint.

It would be cool, but there are two problems: (1) it would take a lot of space and bandwidth; and (2) I don't want to get in copyright trouble. So it's probably better to just have the packs where they already are, rather than mirroring everything on our site.

Sure, go ahead. You can use tunsz555's tool to send me data about any packs you already have that aren't in our list (although it will only be able to get stepauthor information if it's already listed in the folder names). Of course, you can also download more packs and send info about those too

Yeah, there are still a lot of packs out there we don't have. We should have the LOLMP though.

For some reason the ITG3 labeled on the site has 82 songs. My ITG3 folder (which came directly from Lightning (ITG dev)) has 84 songs.

Well, right now I've added everything I have, so I'd have to download more packs to add them. Once in a while I do that but it's usually when I don't have anything better to do (like a break). However, you (and anyone else) are always welcome to send in data from packs you already have. There's a program earlier in this thread (post #30) where someone posted a program that converts a pack folder into a bit of text that I can easily insert in, so basically you could PM/email me the output of that program and I can do the rest.

When I started I didn't even know there WERE that many! I've downloaded a lot of stuff, including some really rare packs that are probably only in one place. By my calculations I'm probably more than halfway there, but we'll have to see - I keep finding obscure stuff I've never heard of and that wasn't on any of my lists, like a whole bunch of tournament packs from the Italian pad community that I found recently.


If you haven't checked up lately, I also have a little FAQ page and a statistics page set up. Some interesting trivia: the packs have an average of about 34 songs; the biggest pack has 415 songs and the smallest has 2. The most popular song name is MAX 300, song author is DJ Sharpnel, and stepauthor is NVLM_ZK. There are top 10s of each of these lists on the actual page.
