    So I Have No Clue

    ...what the hell to do. Whenever i try to open an .smzip file Stepmania begins running and then crashes and lo' and behold, its like i didnt open a file. its currently under (Open With:/ Stepmania) and idk what to do. This began when I first installed SM 5.0 and havent been able to upload packs or songs i only find in .smzip format

    help??

      smzips should open with smpackage in the program folder in your sm folder, if I'm not mistaken, rather than Stepmania itself

              better yet, open as a .zip file and manually move it.

                      smtools/smpackage does not come with StepMania as none of us on the development team are able to compile it. An alternate tool (written in Java) is being worked on for handling .smzip files.
