    Only reason I have them is because I have like two other friends that play on my SM sometimes, and both play slower speeds than I do. Plus, I like being able to get about C700 using x-mods regardless of the song's bpm...if it is 128, 5.25x is about right. 140, 5x. 190, 3.75x. As far as all those C-Mods go, I agree they are pointless. But I don't really care. Also, all the x-mod options are useful for going through and stepping a song on .5 rate or whatever, without messing up the scroll rate. So a 140 bpm song at .5 rate, I'd set the scroll to 10x for stepping. Helpful stuff to me.
