Now if your looking at this tutorial I assume you know how to get into your Metrics.ini file. If not then goto www.Man1xSM.tk and view the first tutorial I have listed.
In your Metrics.ini folder go to the top of the window and click 'Edit' then 'Find'.
Now you want to type in ComboXOffset.
After you have done that you will see something that looks like this..
ComboXOffsetOneSideP1=0
ComboXOffsetOneSideP2=0
ComboXOffsetBothSides=0
Right now were just going to work with the top one the P1 side or 'Player One'. I'll explain the Player 2 side at the end.
If you don't understand how this works then do you see how it says 'XOffset'? Well think of a graph. There is an X-axis and a Y-axis, The X-axis obviously going horizontal so basically what this option does is allow you to move the combo horizontally a set point on the Y-axis.
So to do this you want to play around with this a little bit. I play centered on my stepmania and I set it to 200 and it sat in the perfect spot for me. But it may be different for you so just put in numbers even start with the number I listed and if it doesnt work for you then either add more to the current number or subtract from it.
If using the Player 2 side then once again lets think back to a graph. Now I haven't tested this and if you try it respond back to this but I would imagine that since Player one is on the left that the combo has to move to the right to offset it. In order to do that you need a positive number. But in order to move the Player 2 side you would have to put in a negative number so you can offset the combo to the left instead. If you test this please post here and let me know if it works. Now of course after you are done remember to save the Metrics.ini file before you test it in game or before you close the file.
But anyway. That is how you offset your combo. Like I said play around with it for a while until you find a good position for the combo. Have fun =]
