No sound on SMO, help - EnR

So Eric downloaded SMO on his desktop, which has vista, and I'm aware it's probably the problem.

But why doesn't he have sound, AND the main menu is missing..

I'm not sure if this will solve the problem, just a thought.

If you go to your stepmania program folder and go into stepmania tools and in there you chose " Change Settings " , there will be an option to change the graphic api and sound api, experiment with that, I don't have SMO so I'm not exactly sure it will be the same.Try changing them around and see the results.
