    A weird issue with Stepmania

    I've been noticing my songs have not been uploading properly into the "My Creations" folder. So is there anyway to fix it...and by the image I'm using a Vista operating system, already tried to delete the folder, and put it back, and that didn't work.

    Re: A weird issue with Stepmania

    When I start making a file, I don't even use the My Creations folder.

    Make a folder called "My stuff," or "WIPs." Let's say you're stepping a song called Tension. So now, in My Stuff/WIPs, make a folder for Tension.

    Copy the song file for Tension and paste it into the Tension folder. Then open notepad, and save a blank sm file in the Tension folder (select Save As..., make the option All Files, then save as something like "Tension.sm". Now run stepmania. It should work that way.

    If not, then reinstall SM.

      since you use vista i think i can explain it enof
      click your start menu button
      right click owner-> open
      near the top of the window theres a botton that says organize-> click it-> go to folder and search options-> go under the 'view' tab
      look for the folder icon that says next to it 'hidden files and folders'-> click 'show hidden files and folders'
      apply those setting -> ok
      use should see a lighter folder that says 'AppData'-> open it
      open folder that says 'Local'
      open folder that says 'VirtualStore'
      open folder that says 'Program Files'
      open folder that says 'StepMania'
      open folder that says ' Songs'
      and there they are
      but if your editing a song (like the mp3 or the .sm)
      you usally have to go to both places to do it

      hope this helps
