help with speed mods on vista

everytime i try to make a speedmod, it gives me a message that says i need to save, so i save and then an error sort of thing shows up and it wont let me save changes to notepad (stupid vista). can anybody help me with this so i can make a speedmod

Don't click create thread twice, you just made 2 of the same threads.

What speedmods and what version of StepMania do you have? I could make my send you the txt or something if it'll work that way

Save as .ini on desktop or elsewhere, then replace old file.

speedmods C600-C700 would be fine

Move the Stepmania program folder out of the Program Files file.

If the other ideas dont work by tomorrow sometime, I'll dig out my file and fix it up for you. I also have 3.9 so it should work out

actually i fixed it in a way. i just downloaded cyberiastyle 4 which has C600 C650 and C700. so it should be fine. thank yooughu for helping th

I had this same problem.

Copy the file into another Notepad (or other text editor) file and save it somewhere else.

Then delete the one in your SM folder and copy the new one with the same name and file extension.
