Does anyone know a way to get characters to SM?

I always try to download characters at here. but none of the characters work! Is there a way to get characters on SM?

Do you have the bones files?
Unzip that and put all of the files in C:/Program Files/Stepmania/Characters
Click here for a screenshot of what your characters folder should look like, except you might not have all of the characters I have and your characters folder is probably C:/Program Files/Stepmania/Characters

Hey can some one help me out. I have characters downloaded and all with the bones file but when I go to try them out they look all funky. The arms and everything is out of place. Can you tell me how I can fix this?

Strange...I've never had that problem before...I downloaded my characters of of http://stepmaniathings.com. They work fine for me.

Best start downloading @ the offical Stepmania.com website. XP Has alll DDR PC characters + bones!

But for me with a older computer, I hope you wn't encounter some "whiteskinned" characters or worse... Samples:

yea i ususaly download them from the stepmaniathings.com websiet but for some reason when i play it, the character only does the steps for all of them except the freeze ones, is it just just my characters that are doing this? not that it really matters...

Extract them into your characters folder.
