    Playstation to USB

Wondering what converter thingy all you other Cobalt Flux users prefer.
I want to make sure the one I get works well with dancepads and lasts a long time.

I haven't tried a regular ps2 pad with this yet, but the Super Joy Box 5 Pro is really nice and responsive, at least with a regular ps2 controller.

Get a generic one off ebay.

Seriously, I bought mine over 3 years ago, and it still works like a charm.

RedOctane's converter looks pretty good. I'm going to go with that. I don't mind the extra bit of price if I can be SURE it works with pads.

Thanks everyone, especially jwc. I didn't even know RO made a converter.

                  Re: Playstation to USB

It depends on which pad you're using with what converter. Stepmania has a a full list of almost every pad and converter and their compatibility.

I made the mistake of buying an incompatible pad the first time around. It had an Xbox and a PS2 plugin on it, and the auto detection thing that tells which system you're on didn't work since I was using an adapter.
