    In The Groove USB info

I have a couple questions about putting Simfiles on a USB Key, to be used on an ITG 2 machine.

    1. What are the simfile requirements... I know the song has to be in .OGG format, but is there anything else?

    2. Can background images be included?

    3. Can mines be included? What about rolls?

    Thanks.

As far as simfile requirements...I believe that you can only let it be up to two minutes (although I've seen some longer ones, and I can't figure out how...)

BG images, I'm not so sure about.

Mines and rolls are usually ok in any case.

    EDIT: BUMP. SORRY.

      1) Other than the .OGG file, you must have the .SM file. That is it. If you don't have a .SM file in your specific song, then just go to Edit/Sync steps on StepMania, go to the specific song, save the song, and then quit. Then a .SM file will be created. And yes, you can only have simfiles up to two minutes long, but I have this program that lets you have longer. Only, the MP3 can't be more than 5 MB. I can send it to you if you want.

      2) Backgrounds cannot be included. Sure, you can put them in the USB, but they would just be a waste of space.

      3) Rolls and Mines are fine in any simfile. I believe the "negative BPM" is available too (where it turns arrows to mines, and vice versa), but it might lag the song a bit. It did for me when I played that song with the long name... TsugetlkajofijlIcantrememberthenamebecauseitssolong.
