    Ahh! Arrow speeds!!!

AHH! This is driving me insane. On StepMania, I'm used to playing songs that are 100 - 120 BMPs at x4 speed, and 120 - 180 BPMs on x3 speed, 180 - 250BPMs on x2 speed and 250 - 400 BPMs on x1.5 speed. The only problem is, when I want to play 10 - 12 footers on FFR, I find it hard to read the arrows, seeing as they're on x1 speed. If I'm making any sense, can someone please tell me how to get used to playing on x1 speed???

Screenshrink, which means to make it so you can only the top half of the screen or so.

What does screenshrinking do to help?

It makes things "appear" faster. The fact that you only see half the screen helps you decipher arrow patterns easier.
