Help on Downloading Simfiles for StepMania?

Hey, I've had StepMania for a few days and LOVE it, because I don't currently have access to DDR.
The thing is, I know WHERE to download more songs from -- Just not HOW, because I'm not having any problems downloading songs right from the StepMania website itself.
I'm just not sure what to do with the Simfiles after I've downloaded them.
