Yes! This is amazing, I've always used this to step my files, and now it has features that I've wanted for a while. Thank you.

Awesome, but when do you plan on making a resizable window version?

jimerax - what other features did you request?

dood gone krazee - you're welcome

ice wolf - did you mean a resizable window version?

classic rocker - I am still working on the framework for more game types. I'm trying to make it as efficient as possible without recoding the entire program. Your request for solo has not been forgotten.

                HighAndr0id - Thanks

                Version 1.20 BETA 4 released.
                Featuring:
-- Better Grow Feature (will suggest average BPM of region and autofill to end of song if possible)
-- Fixed Undo/Redo doesn't work when inserting beats while nudging/growing
-- Fixed Arrow select sometimes does not work when undoing

                Download link: ddreamstudio - Home

1.20 will go final if there are no bugs in the next few days.
The next significant release will hopefully have more game type support.
I am not forgetting anyone's feature requests...just implementing what is long overdue.

                  ok, finally:

                  Version 1.20 FINAL released. Featuring:
-- Fixed "Zoom Out Full does not make arrows small by default."
For those of you who missed BETA 4, there's now a revamped Custom Grow feature (now called "Grow Region") that ought to be more useful than before.

                    gj it's fine for me.

maybe my next suggestion for this is something like BPM/stop gimmicks support feature.

well for example, tricks like those are a bit hard to add on SM editor.
I just want an easier method if possible.

well, you can currently do boosts and brakes (just drag the beats so they get spaced more and more apart/closer), and add BPM stops (alt+v), but the scrolling during your ddream session is constant (you'll have to import into SM to actually see the effects)...

Here's a demo I put together to illustrate what ddream can do pretty easily, save the included DS file as an SM file (file->save as) to play: http://www.ddreamstudio.com/resources/moxie.zip

yeah boost is possible by doing that, still hard to make it smooth for me though.

                            will check out the demo.

Another thing that would be amazing to see in this.

I type of thing where looking at it, its a slide bar. To the left shows a low frequency number and to the right a high frequency. By sliding the bar to where you want on the slider, only that frequency that you slid it to will play.

For example, lets say you want to hear the bass drum notes in a song. You would slide the slider all the way to the left so that you can only hear the bass drum.

It'll probably be really hard to implement though.

Jimerax - what about something like:
                                1. select some beats (or start-end)
                                2. specify start BPM and end BPM, and acceleration curve
                                3. automatically makes beats as close as possible on that curve

(may be "on the hard side" to implement, and be a while)

dood gone krazee - you are right, it will be very difficult to implement (for me).
...but I'm not saying you'll never see this feature implemented either

EDIT: with my current, limited knowledge about how wave filtering works, I know it is possible to selectively filter (and listen to) a range of frequencies, BUT it's not like youre going to be perfectly extracting the drum track or the vocal track (like rock band). There will be interference.
