Just added a feature so that the arrows get smaller at the more zoomed out levels, so you can get a birds eye view of the steps, or so you can see more than 1 bar of steps at a time.

Anyone who wants to test this, let me know.

yes, i'm trying to iron out all the kinks in the program so supporting more game types (pump is #1 on the list) will be supported.

I could test that new zoomed out feature. It's a cool idea, but I'm not stepping anything now, so I would just use a completed file.

Will you consider making the DDReamStudio window resizable?

                    a few questions.

I want to know how to put sub beats (BPM changes) on 8th/12th/16th/etc notes..
After I set BPM changes with sub beat feature, BPM changes are put on random 192nd notes when I look at it in SM editor.

Also, is there way to put 192nd notes directly in the editor? seems it only supports up to 64ths like SM 3.9.

I personally want supports of SM 4.0, and 0.2x music(speed 20 on this).

Hey jyris1, I've been having trouble loading the .exe itself. I saved it to my desktop, have updated to DirectX9.0, and have the .dlls necessary. Here's what happens:

When I open it normally (i.e. double-clicking) it just... doesn't do anything. Nothing opens, it just gives me the hourglass and then does nothing. So, I right-click and hit "run-as," run it as admin, and it gives me an error which says:

"This application has failed to start because fmodex.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

                      Any way to fix this?

After I set BPM changes with sub beat feature, BPM changes are put on random 192nd notes when I look at it in SM editor.
                        1. Insert a subbeat (Shift+B or Shift+Middle Mouse Button)
                        2. Highlight the subbeat.
                        3. Press F to open the subbeat fraction dialog.
                        4. Type a number from 1-47 to specify the fraction (this is out of 48).

So if you want to sync that subbeat to an 8th note, you'd type '24' ,because 24 is halfway to 48 (8th notes are halfway between quarter notes)
                        Similarly, 12th notes are '16' and '32'.

Also, is there way to put 192nd notes directly in the editor? seems it only supports up to 64ths like SM 3.9.
No 192nd support right now...but if enough people want it, then I'll add it ONLY IF 3.9x supports it.

I personally want supports of SM 4.0, and 0.2x music(speed 20 on this).
4.0 support will come when 4.0 goes final.
0.2x music support is immediately doable and will be available on 1.20 final.

Yeah, the first thing you need to do is unzip all of the files completely.
If you only unzipped the exe and/or only double clicked the exe directly out of the zip file, then I doubt it'll work and it may display that fmod error message.

If that still does not work, check the system requirements and let me know what hardware you have:

Thanks for the information and 0.2x support.
and 192nd please, 3.95 supports 192nds but it doesn't work for me for some reason so I use 4.0.

                            also, sticked this thread.
people should use this when they step non-elec songs with dynamic BPM.

I'll just use 3.95 format when I want to use this.
