I was just thinking the other day how great this would be to help me sync a rock song I need to fix up! This is freakin' awesome.

    So when's soon?
    Now.
    I designed ddreamstudio.

Ok, every time I click insert beats, it does not do what I want it to do.
For example: I counted how many beats before another BPM change in a sime I am working on, and there were 8 beats.
I clicked insert beats, and typed 7.
And it be 7 beats between every existing beat that was already on the screen.
How do I just select 2 to put it between?

You can already put 3-4 arrows on in DDReam.

Ok I just read.. 192nd note support but no 128th? Why not 128th notes? I really need them in this one song I am stepping.

Updated Beginner and Advanced Manuals. Also, if anyone would like to help, please contact me. 1) Tutorials/YouTube Videos 2) website/forums, 3) demo stepfiles, 4) coding/development 5) Anything else you think is useful. Thanks again to everyone who have helped get DDReam to v.1.05. It started off as an experiment but now it is a sophisticated step editor that many people are using.

Currently the base of SM appears to be 192 ticks per measure (or 48 ticks per beat), which safely accommodates any mixture of 4, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, and 192 notes but does NOT accommodate 128th with the rest of the note types without changing the base completely. This seems to be a least common demoninator/greatest common factor problem.

You can "get" 128th notes by doubling the BPM in that region and using 64th notes, or simply use a 192nd note or 64th note and hope that people dont notice the slight error.

Or, maybe the SM 4.0 editor will give you 128th note support.

Yes, that's right. Those actually arent the official steps, though. But you can contact Zanaso at http://virinpro.com/Members/

He made the real steps and has control of it.

I really don't know anything about programming in any other platform (or cross platform). However, I may be willing to work with someone who can.

Ok, Just select two beats off the screen first, then go to autofill and type "7".
That way you get 7 beats inserted between only the two you selected.

joecool - sorry for the late reply. I didnt know you posted a question until just now.

                              No solo, just single.
I'm waiting for a programmer who can add solo support.

Version 1.07, featuring: Open File dialog displays all simfiles by default, File Write will now automatically remove some duplicate BPMs to save space. To disable this and write a BPM at every beat (like previous versions of DDReam), go to Tools->Options and uncheck the Duplicate BPM option.
