SM help (as in I need it bad!)

ok I know that TD_WONDER posted something like this but my prob is a bit diffrent from his.

My SM has worked for at least 4 mths. and not a bit of slow down save for a few minor probs that were dealt with. then when my song list hit 430 songs, it started to 'chung' on me. So I deleated 27 songs, thinking that was it, but it still didnt work.

Now I considered the game card but my bro (still live at home;my job doesnt pay crap) can play C&C Generals ZH and all the Total War games so that's not it (i think) so I need some help or no more good Stepmania ever, and that's just WRONG!

    Thanks,
    The Mix Master 'Lar'

You may have spyware/viruses that are slowing down your computer. Try doing a spyware/virus scan to be sure. Also, try exiting any programs you may not be using via the Task Manager.

It's a possibility that you may need to lower your resolution. That should provide with some help.

I think so. If nothing worked, you may be forced into getting a new computer, which is well, VERY RECOMMENDED.

It is old but was re-builted 2004-ish, it has a Pentium 3 and can hold 57 GB
(only 31 Gb are free; the rest being bro's games and mama's pics, oh God all the pics!) I don't know what game card it has (not a computer type of guy) but like I said It plays the new Command and Conquer. Every thing else works so the computer is not the prob. if you need to know anything about it just ask (but since I don't know much....)

                    Thanks for the help!
