Best place to start...(Noob question)

I just found this site a few nights ago with a friend. I've played DDR before on PS2 numerous times, and yet when I get on here, it blows me away how hard it is. Any good tips? Any good songs to start out with on SM? Any help would be appreciated.

I think the first thing you should do is download the Japanese Mega Pack. It's full of pad steps (if I am correct). You should be able to just google it to get it.
