RE: How to create lyrics to a song?
Make a blank NotePad file and save it with a .lrc extension. Now...
Here are the lyrics I made for Yume Mitai Angel-Tai.
Note that the times correspond to the times listed in the StepMania editor. For example, when 55.68 in the eidtor comes along, "Manmosumairu" will be displayed in-gameCode:[COLOUR]0xFFFFFF [0:17.54]Omatase everybody [0:20.72]HAI! nandesu itsudemo gin! gin! [0:24.29]Pochi mo shachou mo [0:26.87]jigoro mo taisa mo [0:28.86]Tres Bien! [0:30.25]Kyuujitsu shopping ikou [0:33.43]oishiiwa shishoku de lucky! [0:37.01]Date no apo nara [0:39.39]zuiji uketsuketemasu [0:42.57] [0:43.76]Koi wo shitainara [0:46.94]oikakechadameyo [0:50.12]Ato wa kamisama [0:52.50]gokigen yoroshiku ne! [0:54.89] [0:55.68]Manmosumairu [COLOUR]0x00FFFF [0:57.47](Hai chitsu!) [COLOUR]0xFFFFFF [0:58.86]Yume Mitai Angel Tai (Guu!) [1:02.04]Hecchara Chara de [COLOUR]0xFFFF00 [1:03.83](Chara ni shite) [COLOUR]0xFFFFFF [1:05.22]waraitobasuno [1:07.21]Wahaha! [1:08.40]Okawari jiyuu [COLOUR]0x33FF99 [1:10.19](Kui houdai) [COLOUR]0xFFFFFF [1:11.58]negai goto Viking [COLOUR]0x999999 [1:13.96](Gatsu gatsu!) [COLOUR]0xFFFFFF [1:14.75]Wadaisouzen [COLOUR]0xFF99FF [1:16.54](Chou ninki) [COLOUR]0xFFFFFF [1:17.93]watashitachi ni omakase [1:21.11]Pa-pa-panda [1:22.50]Pa-pa-panda [1:24.09]Pa-pa-panda [1:25.68]Pa-pa-panda [COLOUR]0x660099 [1:26.68](Go!) [COLOUR]0xFFFFFF [1:27.87]Shirokuro tsukeruwa [1:30.65]manmosuairu! [1:32.83]
Color changes (which require hex, by the way) are instantaneous. Note the [COLOUR] tag right after the aforementioned "Manmosumairu". The very next thing will be displayed in the new color I indicated. So, at 57.47, "Hai chitsu!" is displayed in blue, as opposed to white which is what the song started off in. Then the color is switched back, and you will see "Yume Mitai Angel Tai (Guu!)" in white at 58.86.
You'll sometimes see blank spaces, like at 42.57. If those were not in place, then the last lyrics would keep displaying until overridden by new lyrics. This is important if your song has a brief interlude in between a verse and a chorus, or whatever.
If you're curious about anything else, let me know.I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds. -

I did not make any, no. If you want to make your own, feel free to do so.Originally posted by Sol_SolisHave you created lyrics to your stepfile "Shining Collection" which is included in the keyboard megapack or am I on my own?
I write down the necessary times on a piece of paper first and then copy what I wrote down into NotePad after exiting the SM editor. Otherwise it would be a mind-numbing task.Originally posted by super-smashmanThat sounds extremely hard to time.I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak.
