I download it on DIAL-UP, then install it. I click on the shortcut, but it can't find the .Dll's. I rename the dll's, and now it's not starting. I rename the dll's back to their orginal name, and it can't find the right ones.

Please give me help.

He never mentioned what program is causing his troubles. Taking it that this is the SM forum, it's SM. But you never know, you can get that strolling n00b wandering around random forums.

I've reinstalled SM numerous times, and it still shows up. That's why I came here.

And yes, I'm a n00b, because I'm asking a legitimate question. Dick.

delete EVERYTHING in your stepmania folder including the folder itself, then reinstall.

Omg, how can all of you guys get it so wrong. You have the same problem that MANY people get when trying to install RC3.

You have two options.
- Google your missing .dll file and manually install it. http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl....shtml?msvcp71
- Download and install RC2. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/s...2.exe?download

What's that .dll for? I've never had problems with it missing. o.O

Not sure. Some don't have it though and you need it to run RC3.
