    OMG SM isnt working 4 me plz help (plz?)

    this messsage keeps comming up :

    There was an error while initializing your video card.

    PLEASE DO NOT FILE THIS ERROR AS A BUG!

    Video Driver: Creative GB0030

    Initializing OpenGL...
    SetVideoMode failed: Unable to create GL context
    Initializing Direct3D...
    SetVideoMode failed: CreateDevice failed: 'D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE'

    it may be because i was screwing around with pictures of difficulty level and stuff in theme section, but i took it out and only had my default theme, and it still didnt work

      First, try uninstalling and reinstalling Stepmania.

      Have you recently updated your video card? If so, do a system restore back to before the error was occuring. Sometimes, video card updates are screwy. My dad's computer refused to go any higher than 16 colors and the lowest possible resolution.

          What video card do you have, and which (Direct3D or OpenGL) do you use?

              Update your video card drivers?

              If that doesnt work your video card simply is not compatible with SM.
