I'm pleased to see there are a few people who play songs other than the ones on the actual DDR Mixes. A few of my non-DDR fav's are Pulse, A (still can't consistently beat it), V, Ayla, and Sync (BeMaNiRULER rules). Also Traces, M (steps are really in sync, though), Max Rexxurection, and I Am Trashman.

As far as DDR songs, MaxX Unlimited, Tsugaru, So Deep, Cartoon Heroes, Daikenkai, Senorita (Speedy Mix), Paranoia Evolution, Rebirth and KCET, Can't Stop Falling In Love (Speed Mix), and Sakura.

I got MaxX off of ddrmaniax.net a long time ago (which runs off of mIRC now, I think), and I had to make Paranoia Evolution myself. I had the song and just wanted to practice it a few times, so I got the step chart from ddrfreak.com. Really easy stuff. I make some of my own steps to random songs, by the way.

Rebirth was also on ddrmaniax.net.

And Plasmix, I think I have a different M than you're thinking. M is a fast classical piano thing. 360 bpm. And I meant to put "Steps AREN'T in sync". Which is kind of a bummer.

And I forgot to mention a couple songs by BMR. Nemesis and Big Blue X (as said by Mwerp, thanks for helping me remember). I have two more I reeeally like that I got a couple days ago. Era G-C Phat Mix and Era Grand Blue Outset Mix 2 (amazing song).

I have 300+ songs on StepMania now, thanks to BemaniStyle.com. I have to say I reeeally get angry at some people who can't sync their steps right and make me re-sync them to play it, and then even more when someone puts three steps (up+left+right). GRR! Sorry, I digress.
