which is also why I'm at the point of paying for charts. it's literally easier for me, timewise now, to bounty charts and restep them to my liking than to do the original sync/step (which is the vast majority of any stepfile)

this is especially the case since these charts are going to be repurposed for 8-button stepmania which I promise will EVENTUALLY be a thing once the controller design can be more standardized and there's a decent chartbase for it
