Attention steppers! Tired of picking the wrong Xmod for that tricky Xmod file? Raging at the fact that you can't be more specific with your mods? Completely irritated that you have to change your Xmod for every different Xmod file you play? Well no longer; not with Average Mods! These wonderful mods, brought to you by Jousway™®©℗, will do all the work for you! Simply pick the Cmod speed you wish to use and this wonderful theme edit will calculate the proper Xmod to two decimal places! Don't feel like using an Amod? Simply scroll over to the Constant Mod choice and you are now in Cmod mode! Be sure you have the amazing Stepmania 5 to take advantage of this wonderful theme edit!

Installation is a simple and painless process. Put the folder in the rar into your Themes folder in the main SM install. Go to Appearance Options in the option menu and select it. You can now use Average Mods!

Note: This theme automatically creates all the speedmod increments for you, up to 1500. If you wish to have custom speeds for things such as playing on rates, simply switch back to your default theme.

This is a theme itself; I guess if you want to incorporate it into other themes, you'll have to rip out all the relevant code and put it into yours.

It's a theme edit that does calculations for people. This edit only affects people who wants to know the exact XMOD based off their CMOD. I was simply stating that most people use CMODS (which would mean that a lot of people will probably not need this but it is useful).

Alrighty, so, after a bit of thinking, I realized you can in fact set it up to your preferred rates. The two files you need to edit are ScreenPlayerOptions and ScreenSelectMusic (both in BGAnimations). Look for either 25 or 50 - depending upon which download you chose - and replace that number with your usual rate divided by 10. So if you have a 900 mod, put 90 there. That ought to put them in increments for your mod, allowing you to play on different rates with this theme edit.

You'll be looking for this line here: speedp1 = (GetUserPrefN("SpeedModP1")+1)*25;

That bolded number is what needs to be changed.

You'll also need to change it in ThemesPref, in the Scripts folder.

for i=1,60 do
tChoices[i] = ((i-1)*25)+25;

Again, these bolded numbers need to be changed to your mod's increment. The 60 in for i=1,60 is the upper limit; this only extends how far up the mod goes, so you can decrease this if you want.

EDIT: Thought about some more, realized that it's not multiples of 10 for your mod, it's based on division. You'd have to mess around with the algorithm itself to be able to set it up for rates.
