    Bit.Trip Beat

I was just checking out the Wii Wares channel and I came upon this game. After buying and playing it for a bit, I'm absolutely addicted.

It's basically like Pong + Music game. There's really no other way to describe it, so check it out.

It's 600 points and includes three songs, but it's well worth it.

    *EDIT: I'd like to add:

It seems that this is only the first release of the BIT.TRIP series. Wikipedia explains it further:

Fun game. I played the fuck out of the demo on the Wii as an unpaid kiddo in High School, I remember my dad finally buying me the full game after a girl broke up with me so he wanted to cheer me up. Ah good times

post-dumps abstractly represent the existential nihilism that the song invokes in the listener with negative space, evoking the ephemeral nature of the mind - the journey of stepmania begins in hope yet soon becomes corroded into a dialectic of futility, leaving only a sense of dread and the unlikelihood of a new synthesis
