I Haven't even played in the groove in an arcade and i prefer it over DDR.

ITG is much more of a challenge: Mines, Harder steps, even hands(lol vertex).

They both fun. But the thing is ITG is more fun, there are 2 reasons. (lol I'm not writing an essay or w/e)

1. Step chars, ITG has more fun steps and it's much more difficult then DDR. The only thing I can't pass in DDR is Paranoia Survivor Max Oni - DDRExtreme. But I can't pass many expert mode in ITG2.

2. ITG involves mine, jump steps, hands etc. Modifers makes the game better and allows player to have more fun.

i've seen this thread r93285395783425923857239587235985723958723 times. (r in reference to the itg cabs) and ITG is still better. Timing windows + mods + more fun indie songs + better stepfiles + harder + better arcade pads (yes it's a factor) = overall win = rapes DDR. sorry fangirls.

Yeah, us ITG players need lives because we are better at the game than the normal DDR players. Thanks for being a prick because ITG players are usually superior to the DDR players.

I'm an ITG player. The ONLY reason I have left to play DDR is to pass that stupid piece of crap chart, Healing-D-Vision, on both singles and doubles Oni. Other than that, DDR is just too boring for me to want to keep playing it anymore.

Mmhmm. And any of the DDR players who say that the the arcade pads aren't a factor obviously have never played ITG at all and cannot even break past the 11 difficulty mark, which is still considered being weak at ITG. I'm tired of this thread coming up over and over again (no offense to the creator), because there is that one random, ignorant person, who says that someone has no life because they play ITG, ITG sucks this, DDR is the best that, etc.

Konami sued Roxor for "stealing" their 4 panel idea. OH, go figure, DDR adds "SHOCK" arrows, which are the equivalent to ITG's mines. Overly excessive DDR fans who know nothing about the great game of ITG, and go chastise it like if they actually played it. [/rant]

My vote goes for ITG, for several reasons:
-Otaku music quickly gets on my nerves
-ITG stepcharts are way better. You don't find such crap you find in DDR. Healing-d-vision, for example.. the stepper of this song didn't understand that most of its rythms are based on triplets, and not on binary "double-croche". and what about dead end groove radar..-__-..?
-ITG machines' dance platforms are of way better quality than DDR machines, and I'm sure that all ITG2 players agree with me.

To sum up, ITG's spirit is, to me, much more professional than DDR, which still remains in its childish approach with its flashing menus, stupid and useless vocals, crazy music, approximative sync and amateur stepcharts.

so many of these threads!!! ITG for the expirenced players who can pass the legend of max easily, but DDR is better for beginners. I like ITG because its in english, but ddr has better music.
