xD its not suppose to come out. try goin to roxor's web site. yeeaahh. it doesn't exist anymore, i don't think... because konami put a law suit on em' and now ITG3 won't come out. but on several occasians i've seen ITG3 mods and stuff on youtube. and i can't seem to find any software for it, like what i saw on youtube... >0< so i wanna know if anyone knows anything about it, because i know its out there somwhere. AND I WILL NOT REST UNTIL IT IS FOUND. xD

You won't find ITG3 software but you can definitely download the official ITG3 songs, if that'll be of any help =/

ps2's runs dvd's, right, while ps3 runs blueray, or dvd. so, if you put it onto a dvd, and somhow got it to run like a game, as soon as its read (meaning right when its turned on), then it would probably run on a ps2. But getting it to run without you having to 'click' it (telling program to run) like on a computer, would be hard or on ps2. If somhow you could tell the file to run (either manually somhow, or software telling it to) that'd be a tough one to figure out. btw, thanks for the simfiles. ^_^

UltraISO - For opening the disc ISO and viewing the files.
PCKSuite - For creating PCK files and packing the songs
dbPowerAmp - For convertinghe MP3 files to OGG files
CDGenerator v1.5 - For building a working PS2 game ISO
IML2ISO - For converting the IML file created by CDgen to an ISO file
Patience and COMPLETLY and CAREFULLY read the directions below
Dameon Tools is included in the pack but you dont need it, its just something handy to have.

wouldn't that help get it onto the ps2, have you tried using these programs?

I don't think you can. Pretty sure you can just get the song pack and really, rhythm games don't often upgrade their game engine anyhow so it should pretty much be the same thing. If you want it to work on your PS2 get an HD loader and ITG1.

I haven't tried going through all of that yet, as it seems I'd be bad at that sort of thing. I'd be willing to give it a try but would rather pay someone to do it for me, basically.

Are you looking to try and play ITG3/ITG2 on a PS2 or just Stepmania?

There is an ITG3 theme beta being worked on, but it gives a lot of crashes and what not.

ITG3 is a failed project--it was going to get off on such a strong foot, but then Konami COMPLETELY screwed it up. All I can say is that a "fan-made" (and I do emphasize the quotes because a song list WAS given out, and this current project used it) pack was started, and they're trying to finish all of that project as well. The ITG3 theme is like 70-80% done, I would think. It'd be best to wait for the theme to be finalized, and sometime along that point, the completed charts with it. Then you can try to integrate all of that into an ITG game if that's what you are aiming for.
