I need help with something. I made a lot of stepfiles in Stepmania and I am quite proud of them and I would like to put them into the FFR Simfile Database. But the Database requires that the file has to be a Zip file and when I saved my stepfiles to Stepmania, it is a SM and a DWI file. I want to know how to change SM and DWI files to Zip files.

Use winrar or winzip (if that's even still around) and zip them up into a rar or zip.
Literally as easy as right-clicking and using the "add to "(name).rar" -

Funny, I just made my first simfile and just did this.
I think I can help.
When you go into the Songs file, you can see all of the individual artist folders. All you have to do is right click on an artist folder, scroll down to 'Send To' and then select 'Compressed (zipped) Folder'. It'll create that same folder but with a big zipper on it. You can now upload that file to the database or wherever else.
