Since when? I thought it was coming out mid December on PS2. I guess it's a good thing I wasn't planning on just waiting for the PS2 version then...?

Supposedly the main reason it was delayed in Canada was due to a Canadian law that the government has decided to impose on the game. This law says that 30% of controlled music in Canada must have some sort of Canadian content in it - whether a Canadian producer, player, or whatever.

This could mean they're going to remove tracks until they meet the guideline, or it could mean they're going to add more. Probably the former. I hope it's a false rumour.
I thought the reason was a requirement to have French on the packaging and they simply didn't have it ready. Maybe it's bogus and they're using this chance to get second run shipments out to Canada so they don't have to deal with shoddy strum bars and breaking kick pedals.

EDIT: I've been giving quite a bit of thought into my fret problem with the guitar. I really just want frets between the buttons... Anyone have any idea on a method to achieving this without drastic modding ensuing?

EDIT: one other thing: A real electric guitar costs about 100 dollars. Why don't they have any high end 3rd party guitar peripherals available that make use of metal frets and wooden finger boards? That would be ****ing so amazing that I would just have to drop a hundred bucks on that **** even though I already own like 15 guitar peripherals as it is.

EDIT: ok I think I'm taking things too seriously... I'm considering buying myself a broken guitar (like off ebay for instance) and modding my Rock Band guitar into it (or waiting for separately sold guitars to hit stores and pick one of them up to do it). But yeah dude I want frets so bad and wooden fingerboard would be so ****ing amazing.

EDIT: Oh by the way, I plugged my Guitar into my computer just to see what would happen and it totally recognized it and it works.

So I download Guitar Zero, and sadly it won't let me register the strum bar in the game. I can make strumming to something else, but that's just gay. Anyone have any idea? Frets On Fire would be better perhaps?

Wooden fingerboard? Metal frets between buttons? Buttons that take up the full fret's area rather than the smaller buttons?

yeah, those are way more expensive because they're mod jobs. also, I'd rather have RB style buttons with frets between, than GH style buttons on a mother****ing raised platform.

But yeah, if I wanted a mod job, I would put the work into it myself. I'm sure I could produce one myself for less than 400$, even considering the value of the time it would take to work on it.

Care to elaborate? I mean, my guitar works with neither Frets on Fire, nor Guitar Zero, so I'm pretty much screwed either way, but why would you say that?

The mic is 100% logitech. If anything of the bundle was going to be solid electronics that definitely wouldn't fail, it'd be the mic.

I read about the bass pedal problems ahead of time, so I just curl my toes around the top of the bass pedal and step down on that part only. I have to move my entire leg to do it, sure, but at least I know the thing won't snap.

I just tried singing and playing guitar using my headset.

I thought I had problems with bull**** on the normal mic. The headset is even worse at picking up pitch and ****. And yeah, I'm not the best singer ever, but when I bend my pitch down, I don't want the arrow to ****ing go up sorry

I'm a pretty okay singer and I don't really have problems with it. I did "When You Were Young" on Hard while drumming on normal.

                          Drums, I got 89%, but vocals I got 97%.
