They need more Metallica and Tenacious D in the game. With only Battery and Master Exploder going into RB2, I expect at least a pack from either of those bands sometime soon. Maybe one that isn't filled with overplayed singles? (And Justice For All, Ride The Lightning)

Well IMO theres only 2 other songs on AJFA that should be put up,though, i wouldn't mind seeing either full album download,but i would LOVE to see Fight Fire With Fire,Fade to Black would be cool too.

Constant Motion is one of the best drum songs in the game. Aesthetics of hate is really fun once it gets not so lolblastbeaty. Sleepwalker sucks on drums and makes me hate limbs wanting to work together to achieve a purpose because apparently Megadeth is too cool to make a song that would actually translate well without double bass. My Curse was really fun on drums.

guitar=pain... Constant Motion's solo is the most colorful explosion of rectangles I've ever seen. Luckily the chordfests saved my 5* sightread.

I hate the Constant Motion solo on expert guitar.

About 270k is 5*. Take 52% of that, that makes 140.4
270+140.4 = 410.4k. 410.4k is gold star?

If I'm correct, then I'm pissed. I got 402, 407 on it. I only missed in the solo, too. The rest of the song was basically an FC, so to get the gold star I will have to either master the solo or alter my OD path.

Damnit.

Overall though, fun week for guitar. :3

EDIT: 412, 823 on Constant Motion guitar, yay for gold star!! I also did it while mom was yelling at me to turn it down, people are still sleeping, blah blah blah. 6th try this morning..only got 74% on solo. :3

EDIT2: Just played Sleepwalker. I was surprised how well I was doing, taking into account I whored it for like 2 hours yesterday. I got about 4 misses up until the mess in the second solo, which was full of crossovers and stuff that my hand can't do. I FC'ed the first solo though (easy). :<

I'm happy with my gold star!! 315k. :3

Now..time to play the other songs. Hopefully I can get a DLC week gold star.

EDIT3: Tutor is gonna be here soon, noooo!! I just gold starred Clouds Over California. Very low bar set in that song seeing I gold starred with like -3. Easy song, but hard to remain constant. 227k.

EDIT4: Runnin' Wild is a very easy song. Nothing hard about it at all. Barely gold starred with 168k.

EDIT5: Nope, I'm not gold starring Aesthetics of Hate anytime soon. Not only are all the crossovers too much for my hand, but I miss a crapload after the solo on the long tremolo parts. It's like the long orange tremolo part in GGaHT in the second solo spread out over 15 seconds. At least I can safely say I 100% the solo and 5*'d it. D=

I only downloaded the three hard songs (Aesthetics of Hate, Constant Motion, Sleepwalker), but all of them took me a few tries to get. Sleepwalker kind of surprised me because out of the 100 songs I've played so far, that's the first one with any sort of triplet action on the bass pedal. Seriously, what took so long. Also, Constant Motion is probably my new favourite drum song. Aesthetics of Hate is a really good song in general.

It's fun to play online with people who have more than the default set of choons.

Also, for anyone interested in picking up some more DLC, 1600 MS point cards are 25% off at Target for a couple more days. If you have the paper ad for it, Best Buy will match that price if Target's out of stock. So, stock up and save on those new tracks.

Barring the Pixies album, I'm in this club. Well...I will be on Thursday when the DLC comes out for PS3. I dont get much chance to play online though, because while my friends have PS3's I'm the only one with rock band, and I dont much enjoy playing with random strangers.

I at least like to know my band has some competency on the instruments they are playing. Not like, 100% Run to the Hills on drums, or 100% Afterlife on guitar, just good enough so that the song SOUNDS somewhat like it should.

EDIT: Wait, no, 100% THRASHER, on Guitar, considering it falls under both Afterlife and GGaHT on the difficulty on solo guitar.

I can conduct 3 and 2 at the same time and I actually practice arm independence with that beat, but **** doing it with my feet too lol.

My second time through I did alright because I started getting the groove when right hand is on yellow or blue, I just have to work on the parts where I have to move around on the pads at the same time.
