The timing window is intense for guitar, slightly more forgiving for drums.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor
The only thing which would make that excessively hard is the way notes like that are judged.
Blinded By Fear is by far the hardest song to pass (with 2 sticks). Nothing else even comes close. Your right hand has to go so fast for so long it's just ridiculous.
EDIT: Just checked- it hovers at 240-250 bpm the entire song.
I feel the same way. I think the game just wants the timing to be pretty much perfect, which is very unlike guitar hero, or something something something.
Also, we need to battle or rock out one of these days, whichever way it works out.
Yea soon man. I haven't put my live time on there yet. Was waiting for my friend to get his on first before I activated mine, so I didn't waste any time like. But he isn't doing it anytime soon so I might as well put them on now. Will rock out soon.
So anyway, I think I only have GGaHT's and FWD to 5 star on Expert. I ran through Singing mode on easy and almost 5 starred them all which I was really proud of as I really CAN'T sing for the life of me. It's like, if I try to hit a low note or a high note. I go into the octave highers low note or something. It's all over the place. But when you get it right it's awesome and so fun.
I'm drumming on Medium at the moment and I can't play it much as it makes too much noise. Which is so annoying. >=( again though it's awesome fun.
Dore I wanna play some vs drums. Also, I got 4 stars on Blackened yesterday. Before that I couldn't even pass it. Also, anyone have tips for 4 or 5 stars on RTTH. Only song on the whole campaign or w/e I haven't got 5 stars on.

Sure, add me and send a message saying who you are so I don't ignore it
I know the feeling, RttH drums is the only setlist song left for me on all three solo tours . It's just takes consistency and stamina, no trick to it.

It's nothing but pure stamina. The rhythms are straight-forward for an Expert drums song, just practice it and get used to the length. And if you get tired, let yourself take a break by using your Overdrive.
That should easily give you 4 stars.
When you get comfortable with the guitar solo, you can Overdrive that sucker and MAX out your score. You can even Overdrive the part AFTER it and still get a HUGE amount of points.
I've had people gain three star powers before I even get one. Maybe there is something I'm missing here. Like there's a reason why they are. Seems quite unfair to me.
Anyway gentlemen. I am on live now so anytime you guys wanna play I'm usually on.

Which is why the difficulty comes more from the fact that the notes are close together and thus judged harder. The rhythm is a lot easier than the game makes it (even though it is hard, I'm sure), because fast close notes must be more precise.
Also: why the hell would you do one handed on those? If it's the rhythm I think it is, you should be going at it with both hands on the hat (?), then drop one down to the snare on every beat or whatever it is. Honestly, people.
Oh hey I had an idea I'd like to see implemented in a future iteration of this game, and I was wondering what y'all would think of it. The idea is basically that the drummer should be able to keep "alive" just by playing on beat. Basically, playing something other than what is scrolling on screen shouldn't hurt the player if it's onbeat. Like, imagine you're at a show and the drummer is freaking clueless, would you rather him try desperately to keep up, or would you rather him cut the bullcrap and improv something that's onbeat and works. Something else: I'm not saying they should get points for it or anything, just that they shouldn't fail the song or anything if they're missing notes but still keeping a reasonable rhythm.

If you're playing with a group of people, the unison bonuses can give other people Overdrive, but if you screw up a phrase, you will not get that star power. Your partners, however, will get it.
Afro, Blinded by Fear is Y YR Y YR Y YR. If you use two sticks you have to one hand 250bpm eighth notes for pretty much the entire song. There's a snare on every offbeat making it impossible to cheat unless you have more sticks.
Also I just FCed Wanted Dead or Alive drums, which isn't hard except for the ****ing cymbal wankery at the end that HMX charted to nothing. fukin reckd
