i will agree that guitar hero is nothing like playing a real guitar, but the drums on rockband are more like playing the real drums as opposed to guitar hero and playing the real guitar so eh, but whatever the point of the game is to have fun. and i much prefer singing to iether of the two cause its just so damn fun. im probably gonna buy karaoke revolution now when i get money lol. and this was worthy of my 1000th post hoorah!

      rock band is awesome!!
i have been playing it all week!
i finally can play guitar on expert.
I play real guitar so i am happy i can do it on expert.
If I never became good at toy guitar, it would be like Tony Hawk sucking at his own game!

drums are awesome and I love singing.

        Re: RockBand. More Awesome.

I've been playing on Live a lot recently, the other day I got matched up in a random all-expert band with 2 platinum artists. I sang, we did pretty well on quite a few songs and then raped Welcome Home getting 2.45 mil or something like that, it would've been 9th on Scorehero if we were a registered band. It was pretty ridiculous.

Damn, almost got 100% on Brainpower, expert drums. Completely screwed up one of first chorus sections, got everything else.

I should get a camera so I can start taking pictures..

                Re: RockBand. More Awesome.

haha so theres a rockband comp at my town on saturday, theres an article in the paper about this band and this is the funniest quote ever "they are pretty good considering they can beat everything on medium and almost every song on hard" then i just though to myself "rofl" and the drummer said they would hopefully "dominate" and were pretty "confident" id like to see how confident they are when my band kills them, ive already FC'd 9 songs on expert singing, my brother can get 95% wont get fooled again drums, and the guitar players are just mediocre but can get 99's and 100's on guitar and bass since its only Rockband. so yea the first prize is 300 dollars so 75 for each member so thats not too bad for 4 hours of my time.

Maybe because you didn't need to use the bass pedal.

Kinda stressed now, here's my story. First my bass pedal broke that was not that big of a deal because well I made a new one using my Real Bass pedal. So I was like lets test it out. I'm playing all fine and dandy then BAM Snare breaks *facepalm* I'm not sure if it's completely broken but every time I hit it I hear and feel a rattle and one hit = 4, I don't know what to do and I can't send it in due to 2 facts.
                            1) I live in Canada
                            2) That requires a credit card and 150$ deposit
ALSO to make matters worse my disc as a fairly large scratch in it in which if I don't pick a song within 20seconds of the menu my game crashes. inbefore tl'dr, any reasonable Suggestions?

Most of them are pretty worth it. Except for Sex Type Thing, which is a cool song, but horrific on drums.
