    ITG Custom Files question

If I put Japanese symbols in the artist's or song's names, will they show up? Or should I be using Romaji?

the japanese symbols in my arcade just get translated to what the machine would make it out to be or if the name is not a real word it'll just go like ?????????, so if the name of the song and name of the artist aren't common then just change it to romanji

      Nice.
'n I was also wondering, if my songs go over 2mins, what happens?
I heard it just "ends", but how does it end? Does the music just stop, or fade out, and go to score screen, or what?

It doesn't let you play a song over 2mins unless you use the ogg. length patch.

Yes, it will simply cut off. I accidentally uploaded a patched .OGG to the FFR database in one of my simfiles, and it stops at 1:45, which is how long the patched time is.

You can play any length song, so long as it's patched and under 5 megabytes. Even with the removal of length restriction, the size restriction is still there.
Why would you put that in your signature? You've lost your signature rights for a month. (You'll get them back on March 10th, 2012.)

If it's R21, the song will keep going (as long as you used the ogglength patch).

If it's R22 or later the song will just cut off (when depends on which revision it is).

I'll have to go double-check this, but if you have the transliteration, it may use that if it can't display the Japanese. I could be wrong, though.

Is there an R22? I thought they just skipped right to R23, and that was the revision that cut off >2min. songs. I'm just basing my statement on this site, which shows a lot of gaps between update numbers.
