Frets On Fire

I couldnt find a thread for this so Im making one. FoF is basically a PC version of Guitar Hero.

Anyway, if anyone has this game and is pretty good with the technical side of it, then I need your help. Ive downloaded some songs off of KoF and the files are in .midi and .ini format instead of .ogg etc. I want to know how to play these files without having to find one with the .ogg and such. Thanks for the help

No, but you can get a PS2->USB adapter.


FoF sucks, it crashes too much, and there are no good files for it.

Go get Freetar Hero. It is a much better application that is easier to use.

I just tried Freetar Hero. I like FoF better because theres less work to do and it reminds me of how Stepmania works. IMO FoF is easier to use because you dont have to download the song and the steps separately.

FoF is a little confusing when you download frets only songs for me (im not too great with that stuff) and when the songs dont have the correct .ogg files...
it makes me angry >=[

And this is why I play custom songs on GH2. Through Fire and Flames, Go Go Power Rangers, Holy Wars, Demonology and Heartache, etc. I've added all these and more to Guitar Hero.
