Referring, of course, to the feet. Which part of your feet do you dance on?
I've seen it two ways. The first is when people prance around on the balls of their feet. It looks smoother and it's easier to crossover, but it seems to take more energy and the score suffers as soon as the stamina begins to fade.
The second is when people wear skateboarding-type shoes and stomp around on their heels. The score looks better, but I swear the sound of the stomping is like a jackhammer. It can't be good for the bones.
