Need help on cleaning a pad...

Ok, here's my situation...

I brought a pad (which mind you, doesn't belong to me) to one of my friend's houses earlier today to play DDR. I played it for a few minutes, but then I thought something smelled funny, so I lifted the pad up. As it turned out, her dog had peed on the area where I had laid the pad and I didn't realize it

So I spent FOREVER cleaning it, and it doesn't smell as bad, but now it smells like a mix of fabric freshener and pee. I was wondering if there's anything I can do to completely get the smell out; anything would be helpful. I do have another pad I can give to my friend if I happened to ruin his, but I really don't want to have to tell him that I destroyed his pad. I would have a feeling he'd be disappointed in me, which I really don't want for certain reasons...

get a can of axe and spray the whole pad XD. lol, hopefully it wasnt that good of a bad, a softpad i presume?

Yup, soft pad. Anyway, thankfully (after trying a million things) I found this one spray stuff that worked perfectly and now it smells like it just came out the box too xD I even sprayed some axe on it to make it smell like it did when I borrowed it from my buddy, so it all worked out. Thanks though
