I would like to try a metal one, but yeah I don't have one nor have I ever tried using one so i wouldnt know wether it's good or not. But i voted nonslip, red octane ignition 2.0 teh best!Ananana: Girls are so complicated. That\'s why I\'m not a lesbian.

Plastic Hard ones? Wouldn't they like crack after a while? Unless the plastic's like real good quality. They're probably pretty expensive, if you're gonna spend that much money, you might as well spend a couple extra bucks for a metal one =\Ananana: Girls are so complicated. You play the plastic pad without your shoes. Otherwise it will crack. I've been through most pads...The soft pads really suck, but are the cheapest. At the same time, they slip a LOT and they aren't very accurate. A plastic pad is somewhere between $50-100 and is a pretty good deal, its reliable and worlds better than the soft pads. Ignition pads are about the same price or a little pricier and are also a good buy if you're serious enough about DDR. At the top of the line are Cobalt Flux (about $300 for a single pad, 600 for a double). I've never played one before, but these are custom-made and have everything you could need. Also is the Arcade Pad, which I've only seen on Ebay for $500 and up. Decide how serious you are and how much you wanna spend, and go for it.Originally posted by SoDeepPolarisThat's why plastic hard pads are sucky. Cause they crack.Comment
