    Beatmania is hard.

    Beatmania is hard.
    At least on a computer.
And this could be because I just started playing.
    It is fun though.

Well any game is hard when you first start to play. When you found out about FFR and started playing it you probably thought the same thing right?
    Bah.

I already knew you were a newbie by looking at the topic.

      Why?

Noone who's good at it, EVER, EVER, calls it "beatmania". It's either 5 key, BM, or IIDX. It's like a secret rule that you never notice, but believe me, people do

        So true Archbowl

It's like people who don't know what freestyle is on DDR

Study the layout of the keys, turntable, and the on-screen columns where the notes scroll and eventually you can get the hang of it.

White notes = white keys, blue notes = black keys

Well here's oregon for ya... Waka Laka on standard draws crowds... playing a light double draws crowds... losing max300 on heavy gets you claps. beating max300 on heavy gets you cheers and claps... beating maxxunlimited on heavy gets you craploads of claps, cheers, and 100 free tokens... not to mention getting your picture taken by other ppl and by the arcade if they watch you.

Eh, Here in Nebraska, You get lots of stares, no claps, and a really wierd guy who says that he''ll be your personal "fanning system." Although, some hot guys do hit on ya, but that's a risk I'm willing to take!
But it's hell on Sundays, cause there are no crowds,, cept Fan boy" standing to your right.....

of course it draws attention, especially when there are few skilled competitive players in your area. I try to play when there aren't many around or all those freaks just stare and are gawking.
