Pad arrow is stuck...HELP!!!

I just today bought DDR Extreame 2 Yet i don't have a PS2. I go to my friends house play it there then he gets addicted after 3 hours but has to go to soccer. I borrow his PS2 and start playing it my basement.

I do dance master mode and on B 15 (finish boom boom doller on begginner ending with MAX life) and can't do this super easy sont.

WHY my up arrow spazes presses when its not suppost to and somtimes doesn't press it when i want it to. Its a soft pad not the one that comes with it but the most common single one.

Please tell me how to fix it or if it happend to u. I can get a refund but im going to work tomarrow and need to play more DDR!!!

Get a metal pad.

Seriously if you have any intention of ever being good at the game, get a metal pad.

ahhh but wait i got perfectly good at playin ddr with a konami soft pad. I can easily B paranoia survivor max on heavy with it. true i can A it on a a metal pad and B the oni version but still the soft pad is all u need when ur just beginning.

Invest your money into a cobalt or a metal pad.

Soft pad is so much different from playing on a metal pad/arcade pad.

While obviously impossible to fix, (and pointless if you plan to get a refund) advising a beginner player to get a CF pad is retarded.

You prolly can't fix it, so buy a new pad.. You don't necessairily have to get a metal pad for it to work. Just get a BETTER pad. A Konami soft pad works fine. Or the one with the 2 inch rubber padding.

Soft pad is so much different from playing on a metal pad/arcade pad.

Once you can pass 9s they feel the same, IMHO. You don't care about the pad's texture but where the arrows are, and as long as the proportions are on...
