Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I seem to find that

a) The steps don't follow the music for a lot of the song

b) There is no way in hell it's a 9 footer

It hasn't been unlocked on Oni on our machine, as far as I know, and is only available as an extra stage.

What is it like on Oni?

Also, "Please Die" is a bit immature, don't you think?

...I wouldn't know because I've never played SuperNova. I was just being a jerk for the fun of it. I do know it's a 10 footer on Oni, though. Course that doesn't say much seeing as Sakura and Bag are 10 footers.

Ah, well for the record, incase anybody else dosen't know, it's a 9 footer on heavy, yet has 8th streams at 360 bpm.

Also, the music starts with a lot of long notes and at one point goes in a steady 12th rhythm, yet for both those sections, the steps are 4th jumps and gallops, and a few 16th triplets.

The second half of the song is fine though, apart from being way out of the range of a 9 footer.

So are you saying it should be an 8 or a 10? 8ths on 360 bpm sounds like hell. Is the whole song 360 bpm or just part of it?

It's 180, and does a vertex and doubles for no real reason half-way through. It should be a 10, easily.

oh i c. well if that's how difficult it is on heavy then I would assume the oni is incredibly difficult. Hang on, I'll go find i good vid.

Our very own DJ Sterf talked to me about Healing D-Vision a week or so ago. He had only a few greats up until halfway through the song. By the end, he had 80+ and a few non-combo. In short: yes.

Yeah, it definitely should be a 10 imo. It took me forever to get an AA on that junk. Best is 34 FC (http://www.djsterf.net/newddr/hdv-aa.jpg), 32 of which were after the jump speed-up at 360 bpm (the runs that make absolutely no sense still give me at least 25 Greats).

I do better if I flail my legs randomly and pretend I'm stomping on a field of spiders.

Edit: I do wonder if it's a mistake, though. Mind Parasite is rated a 6 (should be an 8 or 9), Mugen was just corrected from a 10 (good that it's now an 8), and a ton of Doubles ratings don't make sense (Toxic, for example).
