As an actual guitarist I thought guitar hero sucked.. especially since playing it like it was a real guitar makes you lose but playing it like it's a piece of plastic with colored buttons makes you do fairly well..

I play guitar myself, and i dont know what you are talking about.

I think playing guitar before GH helped me out in the game. Especially with the hammer ons and the pull-offs.

So, you mean playing it like wasn't supposed to be played resulted in your failure, and then playing like it was supposed to be played worked?

I know. When I slam my PS2 controller on the ground and lose, I get frustrated, especially during fighting games when people are doing that on the screen! It doesn't make sense that I have to play the game the way it was designed to win. It needs to conform to my standards.

Bought a PS2, played

Played Medium for a bit, unlocked Get Ready 2 Rokk, played on Expert in Quick Play, passed first try with 78%.

Christ, just played Misirlou expert for the first time today.

was NOT expecting that.

the only tough part in that song are the minijack things.

But it's still insane.

Didn't help that my friend was 5-starring it next to me. : (

lol, man, i can tap the intro to cowboys from hell, that parts fun, but in GH1 you need hella good timing, and i can swear, the error window changes each time you play -.- i hate you GH1 event hough you have the better songs

i just love the game now as a party game... the songs that i need to 5 star by the way are Jordan and Six, friend 100% both and got like 250k plus on each song, so im aiming for those numbers

Why do people always lie about what their friends can do?

ps minimum for 100% on Jordan is like 360k, and that's if you ignore star power completely. rofl. Also, world record on it is like 90%.

I think he is talking about practice mode and made te score up, because in practice you can slow down the speed, therefore making the notes go slower. And I have passed Jordan expert in quick play, but on the controller. You know, if you're going to pass that song, you need to be lucky enough the survive the very first short solo (which is relatively hard) and then use your star power. I used it earlier a few times, it ran out too quick. (I had full star power)

Also if your friend 100% Jordan, video it.
