    real quick question about SS's

I normally don't post in here so I don't know if this question has been discussed or not. (I didn't find it when I searched for it.)

One time I was out and my friend took a picture of his AA, using a digital camera. (He was very serious about his "work")

On another occasion my friends and I were just dicking around and another friend passed his first heavy (Butterfly... don't know what mix though) so we took a picture with our camera phone.

The picture on the phone looked like it was scrolled up and had this huge black line in the middle of it. (His phone works fine.) So he tells me that it's a screen refresh or something.

Does anyone know anything about this?? It was the same place/ same machine. The only difference was the AA pic was taken in Max2 and the first heavy was taken in Extreme. (If that makes a difference)

RE: real quick question about SS

It's the way screens work. I think it has something to do with bars on the inside of the screen which display the images with light. I'm not sure EXACTLY how it works, but if you've ever watched a screen through a video camera, it does the same thing.

Refresh rates vary from screen to screen. Basically it's just "refreshing" the image that's displayed.
