    Maxx series Vs PARANOIA

ok so the maxx series is probably(more than likely one of the toughest) series of songs out of ddr....but what about PARANOIA? the songs are generally arround 280 bpm maxx unlimited is only 40 higher than that. which do u people think is harder. oh and one more question. does anyone know if maximum overdrive is part of the maxx series?

    RE: Maxx series Vs PARANOIA

It's Max, not MaxX. MaxX is only used as part of the title of MaxX Unlimited. And no, Maximum Overdrive is not part of the Max series. The Paranoias are generally easier than the Maxes, but Paranoia Survivor Max (Oni) is the hardest DDR song in the arcade. And no, it's not considered a Max song.

          RE: Maxx series Vs PARANOIA

I think that the Max series has easier steps that require more stamina to do them. However, the Paranoia series has harder, more complicated steps, that make them sometimes harder. The Paranoia songs aren't really tiring, the steps are just a bit more complex. This is why some people find Max songs easier or harder than Paranoia songs.

Actually the paranoia steps are easier steps there basic steps that are more quickly with just some cross overs like...downj left down right down left down right...while maxx unlimited and max 300 and LOM requires quick doubble stepping and quicker movements. and PSMO really isnt that hard...AA woo 3 greats

the songs are generally arround 280 bpm
                  Wtf:

                  - Paranoia: 180bpm
                  - Paranoia Kcet (Clean Mix): 180bpm
                  - Paranoia Max (Dirty Mix): 190bpm
                  - Paranoia Rebirth: 190bpm
                  - Paranoia Evolution: 200bpm
                  - Paranoia Eternal: 200bpm

The ones you're thinking of are probably:

                  - Paranoia Survivor: 270bpm
                  - Paranoia Survivor Max: 290bpm
                  - Paranoia -Respect-: 300bpm

I only play Keyboard myself (my best arcade accomplishment is AA Dream a Dream Standard, I'm absolutely HORRID), but PSMO has a retarded triplet pattern in the middle and retarded crossovers at the end, it took me two months to learn those properly. The Maxes were way easier, they're just all about speed, and I was AAing them within a month.

And Paranoia -Respect- is just a bad song kthx.
                  hehe

All paranoia is are cross overs and jumps going and at abnormally faster speed...the max series have step crosses and just crosses and faster movements..

Paranoia Respect is EXTREMELY easy compared to PSMO...

I could A Paranoia Respect before I even passed PSMO so I think that says something

Maybe your friend sucks at doing 16ths at 300 bpm or something... respect is just spurts of 16ths at 300 bpm, while psmo is basically a constant 16th run at 290 bpm...
